my dazzling girl,
your hair is so soft
and your tiny, tiny breath
crushes and crushes again
the walls within me.

I want to fill my mouth
with your cheeks,
cover my face
with the pads of your pink feet.
I want to bottle your curious
little cry- carry it with me,
release it on a crowded train

and laugh
and laugh
and laugh.
